Mr. Peter O'Donnell Jr., Chairman

Mr. O'Donnell is Chairman of the O'Donnell Foundation in Dallas, which established the first AP Incentive Program™ in 1990.  Mr. O'Donnell has had a life-long interest in improving education at every level.

Mr. Robert B. Lane, Vice Chairman

Mr. Lane is the former president of BankAmerica-Texas. As statewide Chairman of the Governor's Focus on Reading Task Force, he was instrumental in helping to increase the number of students in Texas who read at grade level by the end of third grade.

Mrs. Edith O'Donnell, Secretary

Mrs. O'Donnell, a long-time supporter of arts education, is a trustee of the Dallas Museum of Art. She founded Young Audiences of Dallas and established an AP Arts Incentive Program in Dallas-area schools.

Mr. Edward A. Copley

Mr. Copley is general counsel of the O'Donnell Foundation. Mr. Copley is engaged in the practice of law with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, as senior counsel. His law focus is on taxation, charitable organizations and estate planning. He was a managing partner at Akin Gump for many years.

Mrs. Carolyn Bacon Dickson

Mrs. Dickson has served as chairman of the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund Board of Texas and as a member of the White House Advisory Education Council.

Mr. Philip Montgomery

Philip Montgomery is President of P.O’B. Montgomery and Company, a real estate investment and development firm that specializes in the ownership, operation, acquisition, and development of neighborhood and community shopping centers. Since 1980, the company has owned and operated more than seven million square feet of neighborhood and community shopping center properties throughout the continental United States, and is headquartered in Dallas. Mr. Montgomery also currently serves as Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Texas High School Project, and Chairman of the Board of UPLIFT Education. He served as a Director and as a member of the Executive and Loan Committees of Texas Bank and Trust from 1980 to 1999 and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Turnpike Authority from 1989-1996. In 1982 he served as Chair of the Symphony Hall Bond Campaign and Chair of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority enabling campaign in 1983. He served as Commissioner for the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department from 2001-2008. Mr. Montgomery also served as the co-chairman of Tollways for North Texas Tollways, Inc. He co-founded the Dallas Committee for Foreign Relations and served as Secretary from 1987-1995 and President from 1995-2001. From 1994 to Present, Mr. Montgomery has served as a trustee of the Communities Foundation of Texas and has chaired the Building, Budget, Real Estate, Strategic Planning, and Educational Initiatives Committees. He has served as a member of the Boards of Trustees of St. Marks, Hockaday, and Preston Hollow Presbyterian schools and has served as a board and member of the Executive Committee of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Montgomery also organized and chaired the first Advisory Committee for the DISD Talented and Gifted Magnet School. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the American Council on Germany, and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Mr. Montgomery holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Chicago.
