Great article at the Huffington Post on the need to raise the bar in order to increase student performance in this country.   There is a huge difference in scoring.  States report that a majority of student are proficient, the nation's report card, NAEP, tells a much different story.  Only 38% of 4th grades students and 33% of 8th graders are proficient in math.

The key: higher expectations for students!

But the LTF team has known that for a long time and work hard so that teachers demand more of themselves and their students.

More to come as we are just getting started!
