The release of GeoGebra 4.0 has added an extensive set of tools for statistics courses. Price: free MS Mathematics 4 is a free download that can be added to MS Office environments and has statistical functionality. If a portable statistical tool is need, use TI-Nspire family of handheld using OS version 3.0.2 or later. Many new links to real-time testing tools, software built-in. Tony

Thank you GeoGebra! Thanks for the post. Our school didn't offer stats this year, but it is on the schedule for next year, so I'm interested in improvements. Data entry and viewing on a calculator can be cumbersome. I'm amazed at what GeoGebra offers for free. Other programs may do the same things and probably even better, but I certainly can't argue with the price. Great tool. Thanks for posting.
